Tim Nyhus started Hollywood Golden Guy in 2008 as a place to share his passion for the Academy Awards, film, Classic Hollywood, and memorabilia collecting. He began collecting Hollywood autographs in 1990 and Academy Awards/Hollywood Memorabilia followed 10 years later. He is a member of the UACC (Universal Autograph Collectors Club), American Film Institute, and a voting committee member of the Academy of Science Fiction Fantasy and Horror Films. He has had the privilege to interview such classic film stars as Ann Robinson, Noreen Nash, Ruth Terry, and Academy Award Winner Joan Fontaine.
This site is a snapshot of his vast passion for film and collecting. To date he has over 2000 pieces in his collection and has assisted many collectors, sellers, and buyers with evaluation and identification of their memorabilia.
